My goals for CAS in my IB programme

For my CAS in IB Diploma, I have to be involved in three different activities. These are creativity, action and service. To start of with, I have decided what my activities are going to be. But I also have to setup goals, so that I know what I have to learn in a particular time.

Creativity: For creativity, I want to learn to make Indian dresses. I decided to go for the classes weekly twice.  My goal is to create a popular Indian dress called "Salwar Kameez"  by the end of the classes. This is my initial goal. If I am able to achieve this, I would like to continue my classes and learn to create more dresses.

Action: For action, I want to do yoga from the Indian Cultural Centre, Colombo 4. This will be during the weekends. It's a four month course.I was always interested in yoga but never got a chance to learn it. Now that I got it, I want to take it seriously and start of with the beginners level. This is my plan for the initial months. I might learn some sports after the yoga classes.

Service: For service, I signed up for RCCI (Rehabilitation Centre for the Communication Impaired), Nugegoda. The project leader is Mrs. Nyris Illeperumaarachchi. The children from the RCCI suffer from some form of communication disorder. We have to interact with these children by trying to communicate with them and playing with them.  I already had prior knowledge about this project as I was doing this service last year too. I wanted to continue with the same service, so I want to continue RCCI.
